The Last Hoorah

I can’t believe another Labor Day weekend has come and gone, and the slow transition from summer to fall has begun. While I am definitely excited to enjoy one of my favorite seasons in the city, I will miss bathing suits being a main category in my wardrobe. However, I love this swimsuit so much that I had to do one last swimwear post highlighting this J-Crew bathing suit. The tailoring of this swimsuit is what made me grab it off the shelf and immediately buy it. It has a tab closure at the waist like many dress pants have so your trunks feel fitted and custom-tailored to your body. I also love the deep pockets (perfect for storing the sea shells and sea glass you find along the shore) and the earth-tone stripes going across the fabric. These trunks are made with a quick-drying nylon fabric unlike many bathing suits that just hang on you, soaking wet for what feels like hours after getting out of the ocean. These are slightly longer than many of the CIN2 swim trunks I have worn all summer, but still rest right above the knee, giving a more modern feel to the swimsuit.

I hope everyone had an incredible summer and cheers to making new memories this fall!
