Ti Amo Italia

When my husband and I began dating, we talked about our love for traveling, and said that Italy was one of the top destinations on our list. Two and a half year later, we turned that dream into a reality and I couldn’t feel more appreciative to have experienced this beautiful country together. From spending days taking in the ancient history everywhere we looked, to spending nights eating the most delicious local foods, to tasting the delicious homemade wines, it was clear that this was a trip to remember. We arrived in Rome on a Saturday morning and were greeted by one of our best friends, Kevin, who flew in from Brussels to join us for the weekend. After checking into our hotel, we immediately set out to see Rome. First on the list: eating homemade gnocchi, drinking red wine, and finding pistachio gelato. We were in heaven after tasting the flavors of Italy. We then made a wish and tossed a coin (standing backwards, as the legend tells us to) into the Fontana Di Trevi …

Patriotic Prep

I recently partnered with the online boutique store JANE.com for the launch of their new men’s category. JANE.com sells everything from gadgets, to clothing, to home décor and more and offers 200+ new deals everyday at prices you can’t find in traditional stores – up to 80% off. As someone who is always looking for the best deal, this is music to my ears! They carry sporty, urban and classic styles so there is something for everyone. You could get lost on their site for hours by the time you check out all the different categories!I saw this “Stars and Stripes” tee and had to snatch it up with the Fourth of July in mind. I paired it with dark denim that I also found on the site and, within seconds, I created an outfit festive enough for the upcoming holiday. It’s hard for me to find …

Summer Skincare

This post was sponsored by Cremo. I am a huge believer in taking care of your skin! I love a good eye cream to nourish your under eyes – battling any lines or dark circles. Using an eye cream helps you feel refreshed and awakened – I don’t go one day without applying it! I also use a system that incorporates a deep cleaning face wash, a toner for your skin, and a moisturizer with antioxidants. Moisturizing is HUGE and should not be left behind! Use a moisturizer with SPF so that you’re protecting your skin from the sun. That’s the biggest defense against signs of aging. I’ve learned that even on cloudy days, we’re exposed to harmful rays.I used to be someone who only wore SPF at the beach or pool, not on a daily basis. But then I realized that it’s more important to protect your skin than burn or harm it. If your skin is exposed to sun at any point of the day, it should be protected – period. Skin cancer …
